Now that you have all of the data needed to create your Kickstarter page, it’s time to set it up! Creating a high-quality, professional-looking campaign page can help to build trust and instill confidence in your project. It’s recommended to include the following on your Kickstarter page:

Intro Video

There are two main types of Kickstarter videos: professional videos and personal videos. For professional videos, we recommend finding a production company. For a personal video, film yourself talking about your game, vision and why you need your backers’ support. Making use of both professional and personal vids also works a treat.

Project Overview

Let your backers know some basic info of your game, such as the theme, age, mechanics, how long it takes to play and how many players can play.

Playtests & Reviews

If you have video reviews you can post them directly on your campaign page. You can also include some testimonials for your game to help people understand it better.

Stretch Goals

Showcase all the cool upgrades that your backers will get if they back your project and help spread the word. Visuals are extremely helpful here. But don’t forget to plan all these stretch goals ahead of the campaign and I’m sure your Project Manager at Unicool has some great tips for you to take your game to the next level.

Component list

Show your backers all the awesome components in your game. We recommend a clear list showing all of the components so that they can easily see what’s included.

Pledge Levels/Tiers

Show your backers what they would get at each different pledge level.

Congrats! You are now all good to go! Just click on the launch button to get the show on the road! But that’s not all! During the Kickstarter campaign there are also several things that you can do to help give you a leg up on the competition and prepare your game for the manufacturing process. We’ll continue to explore crowdfunding strategies with you in our future posts. So please stay tuned and see you there!
